Dataset description

The database shows the location and spatial expansion of the fauna flora habitat areas of the Saarland according to the Habitats Directive (Council Directive 92/43/EEC of 21 May 1992 on the conservation of natural habitats and of wild fauna and flora) — Original map of the 2004 Saarland Habitats Report. In some cases, the areas are also registered as bird sanctuaries at the same time.
