A field block is a contiguous agricultural area with (relatively) permanent external borders and a minimum size of 1 000 m² within the state of Lower Saxony and Bremen, • managed by one or more producers • ordered with one or more types of fruit • completely or partially decommissioned • separated according to the main uses of arable and grassland. • small non-agricultural areas > 9 m² are excluded from the field block as a field block island • the ALK land border is considered an external field block border
