Dataset description
The data set contains the limits of the forest economic units in the Free State of Saxony. For each boundary line, the display key of the line symbol for the map representation is specified. Forestry units are formed within the framework of the forestry facility for each forest operation. They divide the forest according to the Saxon Forest Act (SächsWaldG) into forestry and non-forested farm area, into departments, subdivisions, subdivisions and stocks. The data collected from the forest facility will be updated on the reference date and form the basis for the economic exploitation of the forest. They are stored in the forest database as well as in geoinformation systems and visualised in various maps of the state enterprise Sachsenforst.
