In the subject area “Forest in Hamburg”, extensive information about various aspects of the nature of the forests in Hamburg is reproduced. They are shown 1. the forest areas (wood floor area) of the forests cared for by the Revierförstereien in Hamburg according to the forest facility 2008. The forest facility shall assess the status of forest stocks in an expert and systematic manner and determine the necessary measures (including the short, medium and long-term waiver of care measures) for the next 10 years on the basis of technical requirements and objectives. The presentation records the inventory and does not make any statements or determinations under planning law. and 2. the forest areas (wood floor area) of the remaining forest in Hamburg, which consisted of trees, provided that they are at least one hectare (= 10,000 square meters) in size. The representation is independent of ownership limits and includes all types of ownership. It records the inventory and does not make any statements or determinations under planning law. The data is based on expert data collection with additions and adjustments as of 2019. Forests that are permanently left to natural development are referred to as ban forests in Hamburg.
