Dataset description
The data set contains the forest areas belonging to the forest parts in the Free State of Saxony. The Saxon forest is divided into so-called forest parts, whose borders are aligned with permanent natural and artificial objects. These are, for example, rivers, rock edges, roads, railway lines. Each part of the forest clearly separates itself from another part of the forest. For each frost farm area occurring in the forest part, the forest farm number, the forest name, the forest part name and the forest part name as well as the forest part-adesse are indicated in the forest holding. The Waldteil-FB-Adesse consists of the forest farm number and the forest part designation. Forest parts are part of the forest basic data/forest base map and the basis for the recording and running of all basic forest data and the derived other map species in the state enterprise Sachsenforst.
