Dataset description

The data set contains the forest test areas of the state farm Sachsenforst in Saxony without the natural forest cells. Experimental sites are used to identify morphological, phenological, quantitative and qualitative as well as ecophysiological characteristics of all economically and ecologically important tree species, their origin, progeny or clones. Name, tree type, plant year of the area, size of the area and type of area (rejuvenation area, maintenance test area, permanent observation area, etc.) are given for each test area.
