FVA WMS Vulnerability under climate change

Geodata service for vulnerability under climate change. The vulnerability under climate change classifies today’s forest populations with regard to their exposure to climate change-typical mortality risks. They are a new product of climate impact research and serve the short and medium-term forest planning (1-10 years). The vulnerability maps identify particularly vulnerable areas in order to start adaptation measures in a targeted manner and to determine a sequence for rejuvenation planning. The Vulnerability Cards are colored in brown tones. In addition to the potential assessment of tree species suitability maps, the vulnerability maps are an in situ risk assessment of today’s forest populations with regard to climate-related natural risks.
