Ground-Permanent Observation in the State of Brandenburg View-Service (WMS-LFU-BDF)

The INSPIRE View Service includes the locations to the measuring points of the Permanent ground observation areas in the state of Brandenburg. Soil-continuous observation is an instrument for long-term monitoring changes in the state and functions of the soil in the sense the Federal Soil Protection Act or other sub-legislative regulations. Long-term soil observation is not isolated, but as a central Consider the element of an integrated environmental observation. Objectives of the soil— Permanent observation is both Brandenburg-specific and nationwide a) the recording of the current state of the soils; long-term monitoring of soil changes; and C) the derivation of forecasts for the future development of soils. As material data, in addition to the designation of the soil-permanent observation area, also information on the type of use, which main natural-spatial unit group, ground exit rock, soil type, upper soil type as well as the category for their selection. Aggregated and quality-tested measurement data becomes a supplemented later on. Note: The location of the sites has been rounded to whole km and therefore does not correspond to the actual situation of Soil-permanent observation areas.
