The term gravity refers to the amount of fall acceleration resulting from the Earth’s attraction, the centrifugal force of the rotating earth and the different mass distributions on the Earth’s surface and inside. A distinction is made between the absolute gravity measurement, in which the actual gravity is determined at the site, and the relative gravity measurement, in which gravity differences are determined based on known gravity points.
Hardness points can be given as a data sheet and as a hardness point overview in the sheet section of the topographic map 1:25 000.
