Dataset description

The four individual maps of the Atlas Plate 2.8 in scale 1: 4 000 000 show the regionalised Heavy precipitation heights D = 24 h and D = 72 h for annualities of T = 1 a and T = 100 a for Germany. The precipitation heights are divided into classes, their spans emerge from the legend. The coloration is chosen in such a way that the lowest values of heavy precipitation height due to a brown hue, larger values are symbolised by yellow and green tones.
