Dataset description

Heavy rain hazard map (extension of flooding) project “Erol”, pre-mountain zone of the Markgräflerland with description of the risk objects (hospitals, authorities, sensitive buildings...). Classification into three scenarios according to the guide “Communal heavy rain risk management in BW” of the LUBW 2016. Rare drain events: Statistical precipitation event of 1 hour, which occurs approximately every 10-50 years Exceptional outflow events: Statistical precipitation event of 1 hour, which occurs approximately every 50-200 years Extreme drain events: Extreme precipitation event with a probability of occurrence greater than 200 years in which large-scale flooding occurs
