Dataset description

The Digital Landscape Model 50 (DLM50) describes the landscape in the form of topographical objects and represents a presentation-neutral, object-based vector database. It is automatically derived from the digital basic landscape model (basic DLM) and differs from it by simpler structuring and a smaller amount of data. The national data base of the DLM50 is frozen at the end of a year and is historicalised as a timeline. These time intervals complement the historical DLM50 dataset. Geobasis NRW has been providing the Historical DLM 50 in the data formats Shape, Geopackage and NAS since 2013.
