Dataset description

This service includes georeferenced grid data of the scanned Berlin mileage sheets of Saxony 1:12000 from 1781 to 1810. Furthermore, the leaf limits as well as the leaf sections with the presentation and query possibility of the year of origin of the individual sheets can be called up as separate layers. The “Berliner Exemplar” was recorded in 1780-1806 under the direction of Friedrich Ludwig Aster. The originals are currently in the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin — Prussian Cultural Heritage. The maps contain borders, roads, paths, towns, waters, forests, meadows and wine.
