Dataset description

Scriptum 16 offers a comprehensive textual description of the hydrogeological spatial structure of the whole of North Rhine-Westphalia, as it had not yet been available. The basis for the preparation is the nationwide hydrogeological overview map 1: 200 000 (HÜK 200) of the state geological services of the Länder. Areas with the same or very similar hydrogeological properties have been grouped into hydrogeological subspaces. The descriptions of the 55 sub-rooms in North Rhine-Westphalia as well as those of the higher-level rooms and large rooms will be made available to a wider range of users with this booklet.
