Dataset description

WMS service LGB: The trans-national hydrogeological subareas were developed by the State Geological Services of Germany (SGD) in cooperation with the Federal Institute for Geosciences and Raw Materials (BGR) on the basis of the Geological Survey Map 1: 200,000 developed. Hydrogeological subspaces are areas whose hydrogeological properties, hydraulic conditions and groundwater properties are uniform due to similar layer structure, similar geological structure and similar morphology within a defined range. The boundary drawing takes into account where hydrogeologically meaningful, the natural spatial structure of physical geography.
