Dataset description

Areas where the groundwater surface can be encountered in less than 3 meters under terrain. The following information has been included in the presentation: Water-sensitive areas (stand: 09/2017), flood zones and flood hazard areas (status: 08/2017), groundwater measuring stations, corridor distance maps (status: 08/2018), Topographical Index “Height above Depth Line” (status: 11/2015), Object information from the Bavarian soil information system, geological and hydrogeological maps, groundwater models. In principle, high groundwater levels can also occur outside the designated areas. It is generally recommended that a comprehensive, qualified building ground report with hydrogeological examination should be carried out for each construction project. No legal claims arise from the contents of the map.
