Information on requirements according to the Water Resources Act (WHG) according to § 38a (WMS Service)

The map provides information on distance requirements in accordance with § 38a Water Resources Act on land, which may be affected by the requirement mentioned below. The card has no legal liability and does not constitute a claim of completeness. Gaps may be present for small flowing waters in particular. At a slope inclination on the first 20 m to the upper edge of an embankment of a water of an average = 5 %, a closed, year-round plant cover shall be preserved or produced on agricultural land on the first 5 m to the upper edge of the embankment. The map was created based on field blocks, impact geometries, above-ground waters of the ATKIS DLM25 as well as the digital terrain model for Lower Saxony in the 1 m grid (DGM 1). When selecting areas based on this data, dykes as well as flower and water protection strips are also recorded and displayed in the map.
