Dataset description

Inspire data set of wild cat distribution in Baden-Württemberg. The distribution map shows all safe wild cat detections that have been genetically verified since 2006 and identified as wild cats. Either no studies have been carried out to detect the wild cat in the empty grid cells or no evidence has been provided. The filled 5 x 5 km grid cells contain one or more evidence (telemetry, death detection, lockstock detection or other safe evidence). The evidence comes from the FVA, the BUND, the WFS, the nature park, planning offices, private individuals or cities.
