Inspire Download Service (predefined ATOM) for data set LAPRO2009 — Maintaining important cold air runways

Description of the INSPIRE Download Service (predefined Atom): Due to their breadth and low soil roughness, cold air runways represent guideways for regional ventilation. The ventilation correlates with large-scale air flows and only becomes effective if the superordinate main wind direction runs parallel to the ventilation paths. Depending on the dimensions of the transported air masses, these are main ventilation pathways (larger valleys), secondary or subordinate ventilation pathways.
