Dataset description

The Interoperable INSPIRE Display Service (WMS) Height provides an overview of the depth lines in the state of Brandenburg. These have been derived from the relief and represent the potential drainage pathways of surface water. According to the INSPIRE data specification Elevation (D2.8.II.1_v3.0), the contents of the card are INSPIRE compliant. The WMS includes the layer: — EL.BreakLine: a striking line that describes the shape of a terrain surface and indicates an unsteadiness in the slope of the surface (an abrupt change of inclination). It must never be cut by triangles of a TIN model. — The compliant INSPIRE view service (WMS) Elevation provides an overview of the depth contours in Brandenburg. These were derived from the relief and represent the potential surface water runoff routes. The content of the map is compliant to the INSPIRE data specification for the annex theme Elevation (D2.8.II.1_v3.0). The WMS includes the following layer: — EL.BreakLine: A line of a critical nature which describes the shape of an elevation surface and indicates a discontinuity in the slope of the surface (i.e. an abrupt change in gradient). Triangles included within a TIN model must never cross it.
