The Interoperable INSPIRE Presentation Service (WMS) Geology (Eem occurrences of the State of Brandenburg 1: 300 000) documents the current state of knowledge about the punctual spread of Eem-warmtimes, partly including saalespatglacial and soft early glaciated deposits in the state of Brandenburg and in the urban area of Berlin. According to the INSPIRE data specification Geology (D2.8.II.4_v3.0), the contents of the geological map are INSPIRE-compliant. The WMS includes the following layers: geological units (GE.GeologicUnit) with indications of the petrographic designation (GE.GeologicUnit.Lithology) and the type of geological unit (GE.GeologicUnit.geologicUnitType), geological events (GE.GeologicEvent) with information on the stratigraphy (GE.GeologicEvent.GeochronologicEra) and Genese, inter alia, Educational Space (GE.GeologicEvent.Environment) and Education Process (GE.GeologicEvent.EventProcess) Drill holes, with the purpose and location of the hole (GE.Borehole). — The compliant INSPIRE view service (WFS) Geology (Eem occurrences of Brandenburg 1: 300,000) represents the current state of knowledge on the selective distribution of Eemian warm period deposits, partly including late Saalian and early Weichselian glacial deposits in the state of Brandenburg and the urban area of Berlin. The contents of the geological map are INSPIRE compliant according to the INSPIRE data specification Geology (D2.8.II.4_v3.0).
