Inspire View Service: Geology/Hydrogeological Spatial Division Brandenburg (WMS-GECORE-HYDRORAUM)

The interoperable INSPIRE representation service (WMS) Geology (derived from the original dataset: Hydrogeological spatial division Brandenburg) gives an overview of the hydrogeological spatial divisions of Brandenburg. The divisional units bear the applied character of user spaces. They are described on the basis of water catchment areas and characteristics of associated groundwater dynamics. For the territory of a hydrogeological unit comparable groundwater conditions are required. According to the INSPIRE data specification Geology (D2.8.II.4_v3.0), the contents of the geological map are INSPIRE-compliant. The WMS includes the following layer: — GE.geologicUnit: Geological unit unknown, undefined, irrelevant or whose nature is not listed in the vocabulary. — The compliant INSPIRE view service (WMS) Geology (derived from the original data set: Hydrogeological classification of Brandenburg) provides an overview of the hydrogeological classification of Brandenburg. The classification units have the applied character of utilisation areas. They are described on the basis of water catchment areas and characteristics of associated groundwater dynamics. Similar groundwater conditions are assumed for the territory of a hydrogeological unit. The contents of the geological map are INSPIRE compliant according to the INSPIRE data specification Geology (D2.8.II.4_v3.0). The WMS includes the following layer: — GE.geologicUnit: Type of geologic unit that is unknown, unspecified, irrelevant, or some type not included in the vocabulary.
