Dataset description

The interoperable INSPIRE representation service (WMS) Soil (floor-forming substrates Brandenburg) provides an overview of the substrate systematic units of the soils in Brandenburg, optimised for the scale 1: 300 000. The map is based on the legend units of the floor overview map (BÜK300) and the soil form society shown per legend unit. The substrate systematic units of the surface soil forms provide information on substrate genesis, soil species stratification and soil exit rocks. According to the INSPIRE data specification Soil (D2.8.III.3_v3.0), the contents of the floor map are INSPIRE-compliant. The WMS includes the following layer: — SO.soilSubstrate: Description of the substrate-systematic unit with information on substrate genesis, soil species stratification and soil exit rock. — SO.SoilBody: Demarcated and with respect to certain soil characteristics and/or spatial patterns of homogeneous part of the floor ceiling. — The compliant INSPIRE view service (WMS) Soil provides an overview of the substrate systematic units of the soils in the State of Brandenburg, optimised for the scale of 1: 300,000. The map is based on the legend units of the soil map (BÜK300). The substrate-systematic units provide information on substrate genesis, soil texture stratification and lithology. The content of the soil map is compliant to the INSPIRE data specification for the annex theme Soil (D2.8.III.3_v3.0). The WMS Soil (Soil Forming Substrate Brandenburg) includes the following layers: — SO.soilSubstrate: description of the substrate-systematic unit with information on substrate genesis, soil texture stratification and lithology. — SO.SoilBody: Part of the soil cover that is delineated and that is homogeneous with regard to certain soil properties and/or spatial patterns.
