The topic of natural risk areas should be pointed to geogenic natural hazards. In Saxony-Anhalt, the dangers of subrosion or earthquakes are affected. The data set of geogenic natural hazards caused by subrosion/carcinoma contains information on the hazard category and the type of natural risk according to the Inspire classification. The focus is on informing users where rocks are spread in the geological subsoil, which are subject to natural subrosion processes and at the same time can have an impact on the Earth’s surface (potential areas of danger). In doing so, the surface area of the subrodable rocks affected was assumed to reach a depth of about 100 metres of it, without making a distinction in carbonate, sulphate or chloride carbonate. At the same time, the dissemination of events that have already occurred has been taken into account. The subrosion events that have already occurred and recorded (earths, reductions, splits) are represented as single objects. Here, both recent and fossil events are included without distinction with a buffer of 100 m. The data set of geogenic natural hazards caused by earthquakes contains historical to current seismic events for Saxony-Anhalt with information on local occurrence, timing and intensity.
