Inventory for nature conservation

Over the course of the year, the Lower Saxony National Water Management, Coastal and Nature Conservation (NLWKN) or its representative of species and biotopes are covered by nationally defined species and biotopes. For this purpose, it is necessary to enter land on which these species and biotopes occur. The surveys are used to map or document native species and biotopes, which are required, inter alia, to comply with legal monitoring and reporting obligations towards the EU under the Fauna Flora Habitats Directive (FFH). The overview includes the study areas and the year with the presumed completion of the recording.
