Integration through qualification (IQ) — the nationwide funding programme: Since 2005, the funding programme “Integration through Qualification (IQ)” has been working on the objective of improving labour market opportunities for people with a migrant background. It is of central interest that professional qualifications obtained abroad — regardless of the residence permit — are more likely to result in adequate employment. IQ Network Hamburg: Integrating adults with a migrant background, immigrants and refugees better into the Hamburg labour market — this is the goal of the IQ Network Hamburg. Various partners have joined forces and offer consultations, qualifications and training courses. The network works as part of the nationwide funding programme “Integration through Qualification (IQ)” and is coordinated by the Authority for Labour, Health, Social Affairs, Family and Integration (Social Authority).
