Dataset description

Daten des LANUV (Landesamt für Natur, Umwelt und Verbraucherschutz) NRW zu biotopkartierten Flächen. Die landesweite Biotopkartierung liefert seit 1978 wichtige Grundlageninformationen über schutzwürdige Biotope in Nordrhein-Westfalen. Diese Gebiete stellen wertvolle Lebensräume für seltene und gefährdete Tier- und Pflanzenarten dar und tragen damit zum Überleben bei. Schutzwürdige Biotope werden im Rahmen von Felderhebungen (Kartierungen) in der Landschaft erfasst und beschrieben. Der Datensatz besteht aus zwei Shapedateien (Flächen und Linien). Zu jedem Objekt existiert ein Datenbogen mit Informationen.
