Landscape-shaping monument

Landscape-shaping monuments are such architectural and soil monuments or ensembles whose visual and/or functional effect extends into a larger space to be described as landscape. Thus, their surroundings are of great importance for their appearance, nature and effect. A change in their surroundings through new structural installations thus touches the monument and is thus, according to Art. 6. (1) 2 and Art. 7 (4) DSchG subject to authorisation. Spatial planning, especially in the energy, commercial and transport sectors, often touches on landscape-shaping monuments. The opinion of the preservation of monuments as a public institution must be sought in these cases.
