Dataset description

Large, particularly valuable landscapes of industrial culture are characterised by whole generations of direct and indirect relics of various (old) industrial sectors, which have overwhelmed almost all settlements. The outstanding examples from a supra-local point of view are presented in the landscape programme, see Saarland Landscape Programme, Chapter 7.4. (Stand: June 2009)
