The list of places (ATKIS) contains the geographical names of the places and places of residence in Lower Saxony (GeoNam). More than 16 000 names are listed in table form with their coordinates in the Gauss-Krüger system, the geographical coordinates and other information. This also includes so-called “popular settlement names” of lost dwelling places.
