Dataset description

The long-distance hiking trails are all cross-regional hiking trails signposted in Bavaria, which have their own name. You can choose between two file formats: path-related GPX tracks that include less than 10000 trackpunks and include additional height information per track point; on the one hand, the shape format is available without a node connection by summarising the course of a path as far as possible into one line, and on the other hand with node connections, here the route is divided at all intersections.
