Map of erosion hazard depending on soil type, slope length, slope inclination and regenerativeness (KLSR map)

The KLSR card takes into account the erosive slope lengths (L factor) relative to the respective field block in addition to the K, S, R factors. For the calculation of the L factor, it is assumed that, on the one hand, the field block boundaries interrupt the erosion-effective slope length (i.e. act as a barrier to the surface runoff) and on the other hand there are no other barriers within the field block that shorten the erosion-effective slope length. The calculation value from the factors KLSR stands for the soil removal of a permanently uncovered soil (black fallow). On the basis of this evaluation map, the soil removal can be calculated for the actual conditions by taking the C factor into account. The ABAG results represent the long-term average surface removal in tonnes per hectare per year. The KLSR map for the erosion hazard is available as GRID for the agricultural area (field block boundaries) in the 5 m grid.
