Dataset description

From 1875 onwards, the year of incorporation of the Prussian country, it began in the style of the tables 1: 25 000 and had essentially been completed by 1912. The recaptures of the leaves, which were created before 1875, were completed in 1931. With altitude gauges and reference to normal zero, they resulted in a self-standing mapwork, which was primarily intended to meet the increasing civilian needs. In 1931, the leaves of this work formed almost exclusively the large-scale topographic map work for the then Reichsamt für Land Reception and thus the basis for the follow-up measures. The table sheets are available plano and are mostly supplied as monochrome, less than multicoloured printing, and individual sheets as plots.
