Dataset description

The data set describes the results of the Hamburg moor mapping from 2016. The distribution of peat deposits and bogs in the Hamburg area is shown in a map and describes the thickness of the near-surface peat layers in the Hamburg bogs. The record consists of 4 layers. Layer 1 shows the moor floors of Hamburg. Layer 2 shows the soils with peat found in the first meter under low cover. The 3 rd Layer shows places with peat layers in the deeper underground. Layer 4 shows areas with spills that cover the natural soils.
