Dataset description

In the natural monuments/surface nature monuments in the sense of ‘cultural goods’, the focus is placed on those ND/FND whose genesis is conditioned anthropogenic. Paragraph 21(1)(1) of the SächNatSchG lists criteria for an underprotection, inter alia, of cultural or cultural reasons. Natural monuments or land natural monuments, whose origin is due to human activity, are, among other things, certain types of fresh meadows and dry grasslands, abandoned quarries/sediment deposits and former mine tunnels. Currently, a total of 112 ND/FND with a total area of approximately 140 hectares are reported in Dresden.
