Open GeoData Braunschweig — Free maps and other geodata on the Internet (data series)

The city of Braunschweig provides selected map material as georeferenced grid data for free. The data can be used free of charge by anyone for a wide variety of uses, e.g. as teaching material, for directions on websites and flyers, for printing edited map sections or for linking to other map material and other geodata. The data can also be used in graphic programs and geographic information systems. The use is also conceivable in map applications or apps. The spatial data are subject to copyright law and are provided by the City of Braunschweig as the rightholder under the “Data License Germany — Attribution — Version 2.0” used nationwide. Both private and commercial uses are allowed. The city of Braunschweig is very interested in information on the use and reuse of the data. These can be communicated at [email protected].
