The assessment of the overflow and flooding behaviour of the Dresden sewer system is based on model results from ITWH with numerous boundary conditions. For heavy precipitation local thunderstorm cells with an annuality of 1 a and 1 h duration were used in combination with a land rain (1 a, 12 h). Assuming the foreclosure of all channels along the Elbe at Elbe floods up to 6 m and the maximum flow rate of all pumping plants, the shown channel shafts with at least 5 m³ volume and generate the overflow ranges.
