Dataset description

The map shows the potential evaporation in the annual average for the 30-year period 1961-1990. FAO grass reference evaporation has been used to calculate the potential evaporation. Based on the observation data of the climate and precipitation stations of the German Weather Service (DWD), the potential evaporation for the current climate reference period (1961-1990) with the CLINT interpolation model (Kunkel et al. 2012) regionalised by FZ Jülich in Lower Saxony. The data is available as 100 m grid. In this map, the display takes place as a 500 m grid.
