Dataset description

The presentation service (WMS) Mining provides an overview of the locations of mining facilities under the supervision of the mines, the fields currently existing mining authorisations on mining-free mineral resources, the validity areas of operational plans, the areas of the construction restriction areas and the old mining areas. The scopes of the operational plans are divided into framework, main and final operating plans. Operational plans are approved by the LBGR on the basis of the BBergG. Construction restricted areas are those areas in which a building permit or consent or a permit including this permit for the construction, extension, modification or alteration of use of construction installations may only be granted with the consent of the mountain authorities. The facilities are the sites of the mining, exploration, extraction, refurbishment and storage mining operations in Brandenburg. Mining authorisations entitle in the form of a permit to explore, in the form of a permit or a mine property to search and extract mountainous mineral resources. They are assigned or awarded for fields defined by coordinates. In the case of areas under mountain control (Section 69(1) of the Federal Mining Act), the supervision of these areas is subject to the competent authority (LBGR). The term “old mining” refers to areas or plants where mining has been used earlier and which are no longer subject to the supervision of mining authorities.
