Dataset description

This service contains maps of the planning region of Upper Lusatia-Lower Silesia. The planning region covers 4.496 km² of the two districts of Bautzen and Görlitz with a total of approximately 606,000 inhabitants. In accordance with the Land Development Plan, as an interdisciplinary overall concept for the spatial order and development of the Free State of Saxony, the Regional Plan for Upper Lusatia provides a binding framework for the spatial order and development of our region. Important foundations are laid down in particular in the areas of economy, settlement and infrastructure. Its development is the responsibility of the Regional Planning Association of Upper Lusatia-Lower Silesia.
