Dataset description

This data set contains the priority areas “Connecting tracks for industry and commerce” according to the drawing presentation of the Regional Spatial Planning Programme for the Greater Braunschweig region as amended in 2008. The statutes on the establishment of the Regional Spatial Planning Programme for the Greater Braunschweig Region 2008 were adopted on 20 December 2007 by the Association Assembly of the Zweckverband Großraum Braunschweig. Pursuant to Section 8(6) of the Lower Saxony Law on Spatial Planning and Land Planning (NROG), as amended by 7 June 2007 (Nds. GVBl. P. 223), the Lower Saxony Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Consumer Protection and Regional Development — Government Representative Braunschweig — as the supreme regional planning authority, has the Regional Spatial Planning Programme 2008 for the Greater Braunschweig region with a decree of 30 April 2008 — ref.: RV BS 1.4-20303/ZGB2008 approved. The Regional Planning Programme 2008 for the Greater Braunschweig will enter into force on 1 June 2008. The 2008 Regional Spatial Planning Programme sets out the desired spatial and structural development of the greater Braunschweig area. The districts of Braunschweig, Salzgitter and Wolfsburg include the districts of Gifhorn, Goslar, Helmstedt, Peine and Wolfenbüttel.
