Dataset description

This data set contains the priority areas “Wind Energy Use” in accordance with the drawing presentation of the Regional Spatial Planning Programme for the Greater Braunschweig Region as amended in 2008, 1st amendment (2020). The statutes establishing the 1st amendment to the Regional Spatial Planning Programme for the Greater Braunschweig region in 2008 were adopted by the Association Assembly of the Regional Association of Greater Braunschweig on 14 March 2019. By decision of 4 March 2020 (ArL BS 20303/RGB-2008-Amend. 1) The Upper Land Planning Authority, the Office for Regional Development Braunschweig, approved the 1st amendment to the RROP 2008. The Regional Spatial Planning Programme 2008, 1st amendment for the Greater Braunschweig region enters into force on 2 May 2020. The Regional Spatial Planning Programme 2008, 1st amendment defines the desired spatial and structural development of the greater Braunschweig area. The districts of Braunschweig, Salzgitter and Wolfsburg include the districts of Gifhorn, Goslar, Helmstedt, Peine and Wolfenbüttel.
