“Within the framework of the subproject 5 “Development and ecological value of existing clerient sites in Salzwiesen as a decision-making aid for the evaluation of future withdrawals”, the floristic and vegetation-related data collected by the NLÖ — Coast Research Centre during the period from 1990 to 2001 were evaluated. The evaluation of the data collected with different complementary methods from the long-term investigations of the Coastal Research Centre makes it possible to provide a comprehensive overview of landing and resettlement processes in clovering over a period of almost 40 years. The surveys in different rooms show the importance of including regional/location-specific aspects in the assessment of sub-rooms, as both cottages and unspoiled salt marshes have developed very differently due to local differences in boundary conditions and will also develop further.
