Dataset description

A cycle path is the part of the traffic area intended for cycling. High-board bike paths are usually colored or separated from the sidewalk by an edgestone. Cycle strips were taken as a superimposed surface. Protective strips are included in the FIS broker in the object class “Roadway Marking_Line” (attribute “Roadway Marking Line”, value range=8). Cycle paths subject to use are indicated by signs 237, 240 or 241 (StVO). Bicycle roads must be localised via the sign 244 (StVO). A file in line form (maintained by the traffic management Berlin) can be found in the FIS broker in the object class “Radverkehranlagen”. The attribute -Use- is not present in the district Mitte, as the district served as a pilot traffic.
