General brief description: Regional plans may define regionally significant locations for combined transport as priority, reserved and exclusion areas. In priority areas, other spatially significant uses shall be excluded insofar as they are incompatible with the priority functions or uses of the combined transport sites. In reserved areas, other spatially significant uses or measures shall be weighed. Locations for combined transport are excluded in exclusion areas. In the case of combined transport sites, inter alia, the combined freight transport facilities (CV) should be expanded and equipped in a transport-friendly manner in order to further increase the intermodal transport performance. Performance-oriented access and departures for road traffic must be created at the same time.
