Dataset description

The hazard warning cards are to be developed gradually for the entire country area in the future. The areas within the identified and suspected hazardous areas do not necessarily mean that they are highly endangered or cannot be built up. In the run-up to the construction planning, however, an increased examination of the slope stability is necessary and constructional adjustments of the structures in the construction planning are often required. Conversely, however, it cannot be concluded that construction measures outside the designated hazardous areas are in principle safe. The hazard warning cards should serve as a supplementary planning basis in advance of construction projects. However, they cannot and should not be understood as a substitute for project-related ground surveys according to DIN 4020, which are generally recommended. In particular, in the planning of construction areas, building ground investigations should be carried out at an early stage with special attention to possible risks.
