Dataset description

The maps contain information for a case-by-case examination on the installation and introduction of material in accordance with the Federal Soil Protection Ordinance (BBodSchV, § 12, paragraph 8). These are triggered if the installation and insertion of material can adversely affect at least one of the soil functions referred to in the Federal Soil Protection Act (BBodSchG, § 2(2) No. 1/3). Decisive for this is the criterion of functional performance “in a special measure”, which is referred to in the Federal Soil Protection Ordinance (BBodSchV, §12, paragraph 8). The criterion is applied individually to some soil functions with very high (performance) and to other soil functions with very low (sensitive) functional performance. The test may result in a ban on the installation and insertion of material or attaching it to certain conditions. The areas are classified according to the number of possible soil functions and differentiated in colour (yellow-brown). By clicking, you get the specifically affected functions, the risks associated with the installation or insertion, as well as information about which material should be avoided and which material might even improve soil functions. The information card for the installation and insertion of material in soils is mainly used for concrete planning on site. Therefore, it will in principle be in the scale range 1: 1,000-25,000. In this scale range, the above information can be retrieved from the individual surfaces. For smaller scales, it is presented only as an image, i.e. the only information is the surface color.
