Dataset description

Soils have different functional characteristics in the landscape budget. The more high-quality functions a soil has, the higher its (ecological) soil quality. Soil quality is reduced by anthropogenic loads, which are usually very common in agglomerations. The whole of the natural soil functions, including the archive functions according to BBodSchG 1998), minus the anthropogenic functional barriers sealing and the features already contained in the soil map, such as debris, landfills, special uses, forms the yundlage for soil quality. Contaminated loads must also be taken into account in a further step.
