Dataset description

The INSPIRE View Service represents the soil types in the upper soil as well as substrate systematic units in the state of Brandenburg. The content presented was for scale 1: 300,000 created and are larger for representations in scales 1: 100,000 are not suitable. Soil types: The underlying soil map is the representation of soil forming societies. Areas of individual soil shapes cannot be identified because the structure and heterogeneity of the floor ceiling only allows the mapping of societies that determine the content of the legends. For the topic of soil types of the upper soil, this means that for simplicity averaged soil types of the upper soil are given for the legend units (soil forming societies). The classification of soil forming societies is carried out according to KA5 and according to VDLUFA. Substrates: The service is based on the legend units of the floor overview map. These are soil forming societies. The substrate systematic units of the surface soil forms provide information on substrate genesis, soil species stratification and soil exit rocks. The legend of the overview map is divided by substrate genesis and soil species.
