Dataset description

The basis of the derivation of the criterion is the soil function map “Natural soil fertility”. From the map, the ground surfaces assessed with level I (very low) were selected. From these, the soils were separated with terrestrial, dry properties. Especially semi-terrestrial soils with high to very high groundwater levels as well as soils with high reservoir properties are shown. These soils are moist or wet all year round. They have a small root space and low to very low water storage properties. Typical natural plant societies and soil organisms are adapted to these soil conditions.
